Message From The Chairman           CILT is the world's premier organization of transportation and logistics professionals with more than 30,000 members.  It is dedicated to the promotion of the industry through formal training, workshops and conferences in particular "Outlook", which has become a standard for CILTNA's excellence.  
2012 Outlook Conference       The Honourable David Collenette announced on February 7th, 2012 that the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in North America (CILTNA) will hold its eleventh annual Transportation Situation & Outlook Conference in the National Arts Centre, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on Monday, April 30, 2012.

Who We Are The Chartered Institute of Transport, founded in 1919 and headquartered in London, England, is the largest and best known transport institute in the world.  Our Objective: To promote and encourage the art and science of logistics and transport.  
CDR in Transportation CILTNA hosted a workshop entitled, "Perspectives on Commercial Dispute Resolution (CDR) in Canada's Transportation Industry in November 2011. to examine the increasing role CDR plays in the efforts of Canadian shippers and carriers to resolve disputes in a more timely manner. As new developments are expected, CILTNA is planning additional workshops later in 2012.  
CILT Chartered Fellowship   Chartered Fellowship is awarded to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the transport and logistics sector, or those who have attained a position of eminence in their field.

Notice of Special General Meeting
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special General Meeting of members of the
Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics in North America (the “Institute”)
will be held at the Port of Montreal on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 4:30 pm
for the following purpose: 
To approve the Articles of Continuance and a new By-law Number 1 which have been drafted to comply with the provisions of the new Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act which replaces Part II of the Canada Corporations Act.
The Articles of Continuance and By-law Number 1 will be distributed shortly as will the directions to the meeting room at the Port of Montreal.

Message From The President  
The 2013 Transportation Outlook Conference held on May 7, 2013 in
Montreal was a huge success with over 100 attendees who rated the
Conference very highly as we had top notch speakers, panelists and
topics. We are now planning the next Outlook Conference in Montreal in
early April 2014. A big thanks goes to our volunteers on Quebec Chapter
Outlook Committee and to our sponsors, speakers and attendees.
We are extremely grateful to our Platinum Sponsor CN, and our Gold

Mini-Outlook Conference on June 19,2013
Out Toronto Rdegion Chapter is hosting a half day Transportation
Outlook  Conference at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster
University in Burlington,Ontario beginning with a breakfast at 7:30am.
Feature topics include a freight and transport pane moderated by Lou
Smyrls with panelists Gary Fast, Canadian Tire, David Wood of Mother
Parkers Tea & Coffee,  Patrick Cain,CEO Cain Transport, Elias
Demangos,CEO of Fortigo Freight, Ian Hamilton VP Business Development
Hamilton Port Authority, Bruce Hodgson, Director Business Development,
St.Lawrence Seaway, CN,CP, air cargo and couriers will also have a
representativde on this high level panel. Another topic will  be a
presentation on what's new at Hong Kong Airport and the Mass Transit
Railway servcing Hong Kong by Ken Mark who just returned from a study of
transportation in Hong Kong. Other speakers and topics to be decided by
May 15th and a flyer/registration form will then be posted on our website.
