Bob Ballantyne, President, Freight Management Association of Canada (FMA), has been chosen as the Supply Chain Executive of the Year in 2020.  This award recognizes Bob’s sustained contributions and demonstrated long-term leadership on behalf of the transportation and logistics industry in Canada and around the world. 

In addition to being named the Supply Chain Executive of the Year, the FMA scholarship at Wilfrid Laurier University given out annually to encourage and support outstanding students in the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics, has been renamed the Robert H. Ballantyne/FMA Scholarship in his honour.

Bob has been President of FMA for the past 18 years, and after a transportation and supply chain career spanning 60 years, he will be stepping down as President at the end of 2020, but will be continuing in an advisory role.
