SPPA Students Attend CILTNA conference and dinner
On November 15, SPPA students joined John Coleman and Prof. Christopher Stoney at the annual Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILTNA) conference and dinner.
The event provided an opportunity to hear several speakers and panels discussing opportunities and challenges facing Canada’s airports, ports, rail networks, airlines, road haulage and urban transportation. Key themes included international trade, sustainable development, procurement, regulation, intergovernmental relations and other aspects of public policy and strategic planning.
It also provided an opportunity for the students to meet with senior government officials and delegates from numerous departments, agencies and organisations and continue to build on SPPA and TPIC’s growing reputation in transportation and infrastructure.
The students were fully engaged in the day and evening agenda. Their presence was much appreciated by attendees and we would like to acknowledge the generosity of CILTNA and Toronto Pearson International airport for making this possible.
