A licensed customs broker and professional logistician with in-depth knowledge of trade agreements and customs process, Bob is skilled at managing a diverse range of professionals who deal with all aspects of customs and trade. He is regarded as a high-energy problem solver with a strong reputation for helping large multinational businesses reduce import/export costs and manage compliance risk. Bob brings over 40 years of public practice experience having launched and led a specialized Customs & Trade group in another big four firm.  He has worked on behalf of government departments, protecting the interests of Canadians and has led large multinational consulting activities to help companies effectively navigate these territories to realize savings through imports an exports.

At the start of his career Bob spent nine years working in various senior positions for the Customs division of Revenue Canada (now the CBSA). The area of specialty with Customs was focused on duty relief programs that assisted exporters compete in foreign markets by refunding Canadian duties on manufacturing inputs.
