Paul is Chair of CILTNA’s Board of Directors for the 2021-2023 term. His other Board roles have included Secretary, Governance Committee chair, and Education Committee member. He had a 34-year logistics and transportation career at CN, retiring as its Vice President of Safety, Sustainability, and Network Transportation.

Since retiring, Miller has been a consultant, a volunteer, and an educator. He is an adjunct professor and “Railroader in Residence” at the Canadian Rail Research Laboratory of the University of Alberta.
