David has spent over 40 years working in Canadian government and Government Relations much of it in the transportation area.  He is currently Senior Advisor to the Executive at the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.  Prior to joining the Port Authority he spent 16 years as Assistant Vice President at CN responsible for Canadian Government Affairs, retiring in 2019.

Earlier in his career David served in the Prime Ministers Office as Director of Operations and Senior Advisor, he also worked as an assistant to the Leader of the Opposition and to three federal Ministers of Transport.
