CILTNA 2024
I would like to thank Bob Armstrong president of CILTNA for his leadership in guiding CILTNA for the last 10 years. Bob officially retired on October 31, 2024. We wish Bob and his family a wonderful retirement. We are stronger because of you. Thank you!
I am pleased to introduce Mr. Anthony Polci, our new CILTNA President. Anthony has worked at the intersection of industry and government throughout his career, with a focus on policy development, communications, strategic planning, crisis management and stakeholder relations.
He served as a senior advisor to a federal minister in the Transport and National Defence portfolios, and with oversight of crown corporations. Among the many major issues on which Anthony worked were the government’s immediate and long-term response to the terrorist
attacks of September 11, 2001, and the ten-year review of the Canada Transportation Act.
Anthony also worked as Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Government Relations for the Canadian Bankers Association. Please join us in welcoming Anthony. Anthony can be reached at apolci@ciltna.com. Welcome Anthony.
We are also excited to announce the formation of a new Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Greater Hamilton Halton Area (GHHA) Chapter. Ted Salter, KPMG Supply Chain Consulting Leader, and Shauna McMillan will be spearheading this new Chapter. To date they have added 10 new members to the Chapter. More will be communicated as we progress.
As the year ends, I wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude and on behalf of the CILTNA Board send you all our warmest wishes this holiday season.
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season filled with warmth, happiness, and cheer.
Here’s to a wonderful year ahead!
With gratitude and best wishes,
Robert Sacco, Chair CILTNA
