The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is seeking an Americas Regional Chairperson for its Next Generation Forum.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an emerging professional working in the logistics, travel, transportation, or supply chain sectors who wishes to play an active role in shaping and growing the CILT Next Generation community across North America and the wider Americas region.

The successful candidate will represent the Americas within CILT’s global Next Generation network, working with peers around the world to help guide the forum’s strategic direction and activities.

The position is voluntary but carries meaningful responsibility and influence. The appointment is for a three-year term and is open to professionals aged 32 or younger who are living and working in the Americas. The successful candidate will be also required to register as a full member of CILT during their tenure as Next Generation Regional Chair.

Key Responsibilities

The Americas Regional Chairperson will:

• Build and lead a regional management team for the Next Generation Forum
• Oversee a budget supporting regional activities and engagement initiatives
• Collaborate closely with global Next Generation peers and CILT leadership
• Participate in the Global Steering Committee, chaired by the Next Generation Global Chairperson, Dianah Nassimbwa
