August 29th, 2017 at the British Columbia Institute of Technology Downtown Vancouver Campus
Address by Dr. Scott Streiner, Chair and CEO, Canadian Transportation Agency
If Bill C-49 receives Royal Assent in its present form, several legal and regulatory changes will occur that affect the conduct of business between transport providers and transport users. For example, air passengers would acquire more rights if something goes wrong with their flight; freight shippers captive to one railway would gain more bargaining leverage with that railway.
