Education Partners

It is important that the standards of the Institute are upheld in the learning environment in order for CILTNA to issue an ACCREDITATION of any Canadian Colleges and Universities that offer appropriate transport and logistics courses. Standards such as the quality of staff, standards of teaching, hours of instruction, and Course text book or Course materials used to teach such Course. Currently, Canadian education partners of CILTNA have received accreditation for key Courses leading to either a certificate or a diploma wherein the Institute standards have been met .

CILTNA Education Committee reviews applications received from educational institutions and, if satisfied that the Institute standards have been met, they issue a Certificate of Accreditation and appropriate letter. Students who pass the accredited courses can apply to CILTNA for the MILT professional designation and after 3 years working in the industry they can apply for the CMILT designation.

Supply Chain Management Program

The Supply Chain Management Program provides an overview of many of the key components of supply chain management and logistics, including strategic management, resource planning, technology, global issues, procurement, warehousing, and material handling. Explore current trends and concentrate on the areas of the supply chain that are experiencing the most growth. The required courses have been designed to be relevant for both those with no previous knowledge or experience within the supply chain sector and those who are already working in the industry but striving for advancement or seeking different opportunities.

This program is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), an international institute with some 30,000 members worldwide. Program participants will be granted a Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport of North America (CILTNA) student membership, which provides access to free CILTNA events and a discount on paid events, as well as connectivity to a vast global network of transport and logistics professionals.

The Supply Chain and Logistics Technology major offers a broad array of career paths with global opportunities, with a choice of four academic tracks:
