On November 17th the CILTNA Pacific Chapter will host an evening reception and presentation by Dr. Alan Barnard, a world expert in decision science and supply-chain optimization. Drawing on Theory of Constraints, AI, and Digital Twins, he will show why improving the flow of a supply chain is the key to increasing throughput, speed, reliability, and resilience. He will explain how concentrating on finding and removing the dominant constraint within a system, rather than optimizing every individual part, is essential to helping Canada double its overseas trade by 2035.
Dr. Barnard is a highly-respected entrepreneur, research scientist, and author. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies, governments, and non-profits worldwide to solve what seemed like impossible problems and has raised their productivity by double- and triple-digit percentages in remarkably short time.
