The appointment reflects LSCMS’ continued commitment to bringing together leaders who are shaping the future of supply chains as the industry undergoes one of the most profound transformations in its history.
With more than two decades of international leadership across procurement, sourcing, operations and supply chain transformation, Chandranath has led large-scale transformation initiatives throughout Asia Pacific, helping global organisations modernise procurement functions, strengthen supplier ecosystems, embrace digital technologies and build more resilient operating models. Today, he leads Strategic Sourcing and Procurement for Asia Pacific at The Walt Disney Company while remaining one of the region’s most respected thought leaders on AI-enabled procurement, supplier collaboration and enterprise transformation.
Welcoming the appointment, Dr. Raymon Krishnan, President of LSCMS, said the Society is deliberately expanding its Executive Committee to reflect the changing nature of the profession.
“The future of supply chains will not be determined solely by logistics. It will be shaped by procurement strategy, technology adoption, data, sustainability, risk management and the ability of organisations to collaborate across increasingly complex ecosystems.
Chandranath brings exactly this perspective. He understands how procurement has evolved from a support function into a strategic capability that drives business growth, resilience and innovation. His experience will significantly strengthen the Society as we continue developing leaders for the next generation of supply chains.”
As an Executive Committee member, Chandranath will contribute to the Society’s strategic direction while supporting initiatives focused on professional development, executive education, thought leadership, industry engagement and international collaboration. He will also participate in symposiums and industry programmes organised by LSCMS and its partners.
